November First Friday!
Wolf Jett of Boulder Creek!!
Wolf Jett: After leaving his home of San Francisco to travel and busk for a year through Spain and Portugal by bicycle, Chris Jones (leader of long-time SF band Scary Little Friends) starts a new project infusing folk, soul, and blues into the sound of Cosmic Street Gospel
To bring the community back together after the CZU August Lightning Complex fire, everyone is invited to a fun, safe, and free open-air gathering every Friday evening through October 30 (or as long as the good weather lasts) on Forest Street in downtown Boulder Creek. Enjoy live music from a revolving variety of local bands each Friday.
Please join us for a special First Friday artwalk featuring well known and inspiring local ethereal plein air painter Brian Rounds. His iconic subjects beautifully reimagined captivate.
Lyndsay Stone’s enchanting musical performance will grace our outside stage for the public’s enjoyment and is not to be missed.
And of course we are managing the evening adhering to social distancing and Covid considerations. We appreciate our guests’ cooperation so that we may continue to present, support, and enjoy the arts in Boulder Creek.
After leaving his home of San Francisco to travel and busk for a year through Spain and Portugal by bicycle, Chris Jones (leader of long-time SF band Scary Little Friends) moved to NYC and started a bi-coastal project that infuses folk, soul, and blues into the sound of “Cosmic Street Gospel.” Jon Payne (Elliot Peck, The Painted Horses), Jeff Kissell (Marty O’Reilly and the OSO), and Will Forte (the Naked Bootleggers) round out the lineup for the band Wolf Jett.

From Danny Fernandez:
“Art is my catalyst for connecting with the people who relate most to my inner self. Growing up in Los Angeles, inspiration has met me through many unique art forms such as graffiti, tattoos, Hip hop, punk & skateboard culture. When I moved to Santa Cruz I quickly fell in love with nature and the surrounding beauty. I became deeply moved by man's relationship to nature and I attempt to symbolize that mystery through my work. I'm recognized for my close attention to detail, fine lines, symbolism, and use of variety of mediums. I currently reside in Santa Cruz, making art by the seaside."
