Writing is hard work. The muse takes a vacation. Writer’s block sometimes levels up to writer’s brick wall, but sometimes all you need to knock down that wall and invoke the muse is a good prompt and a room full of other writers.

Come write with us in the gallery at Lille Aeske and bring your buddies. We’ll be surrounded by the work of this month’s featured artist, Wednesday Kirtan. We’ll start with a generative prompt followed by time to write and if folks are willing, to share.

Bring a laptop or notebook and your own shiny muse. There’s a suggested donation of $5 to help support Lille Aeske and arts in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Jen Ruby, local educator and poet, is the facilitator, and all the fun starts at 7. Looking forward to seeing you!
