About the Class:

Linocut printmaking allows you to make multiple unique copies of a single image. You’ll carve your design into a piece of linoleum, and use professional quality ink to print it onto a beautiful piece of lokta paper. At the end of the workshop, you will walk away with both a feeling of satisfaction, and a bunch of cool artwork you can give to your friends and family.

Registration fee includes all necessary materials. Adults only (sharp tools aren’t great for young hands).

About the Instructor:

Shani Fable is an artist in the redwoods of North California.

Fable Folk Art is the project of Shani's handmade printing business. They make portraits of musicians, nature, and more!

The method they use is called linocut. It's kind of like wood carving, except instead of wood they carve linoleum. The result is a crisp, clean image.
