Gill Landry is a two-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist. A Louisiana native, he started out in music as a busker living out of Volkswagens between the streets of New Orleans and the Pacific Northwest. After immersing himself in the rich tapestry of American folk music, he joined the Nashville group Old Crow Medicine Show, whom he worked with from their first albums van-and-trailer days to Grammy wins and induction to the Grand Ole Opry. In 2015, Landry left the band to pursue his solo creative endeavors.
With six solo albums on various labels, dozens of collaborations, and thousands of shows under his belt, Landry has revealed himself as a dedicated lifer. His body of recordings show an ever evolving voice and an unwavering commitment to his craft. Collaborating with a diverse cast of esteemed musicians over the years, each album is unique and seems to only get better with time.
A seasoned road dog, Gill has played countless shows sharing stages with an eclectic array of artists over the years, including Laura Marling, Justin Townes Earle, LA LOM, Brandi Carlile, Mumford & Sons, Ben Harper, Yard Dogs Road Show, Michael Hurley, Bruce Hornsby, Warren Haynes, Andre Williams, Nathaniel Rateliff, to mention a few.
He's currently touring his latest album ‘Cinnamon Canyon Blues’ which was produced in London with his friend Ted Dwane of Mumford and Sons was released June of 2024 on Rubber Tramp Records.
